Background.
Cathy Power is a Qualified Solicitor and Practice Manager for the Carlow and Dublin offices of Malcomson Law. Cathy combines her practice Manager Role with the representation of clients in property based transactions and related matters.

Experience.
Cathy was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in January 2005 where she completed three years of practice in the Conveyancing Department of a leading commercial law firm. During this time Cathy advised on a broad range of commercial and residential property transactions including all aspects of leasing, property refinancing, acting for lending institutions and setting up large scale residential developments. In 2008 Cathy joined the team at Malcomson Law where she continued her work in the conveyancing field. Cathy also completed extensive work on agricultural based transactions and advising those in the farming community. As part of her work with the farming community she has delivered advisory sessions and lectures to local farming groups. She is the author of several farming articles covering legal issues. She also has been a commentator in the national media on legal issues for the farming community. As Practice Manager, Cathy holds responsibility for the compilation and implementation of policies and procedures which encompasses the firm’s ongoing commitment to risk management.
