“Metal on Metal Hips – Medical Consequences & Legal Implications”
When: Saturday 12th May 12.30pm Where: The Gresham Hotel, Dublin
Every year we host an annual conference on a developing medico-legal issue. There are over 12,000 people with MoM Hip Implants in Ireland. The 2012 conference focused on Metal-on-Metal (MoM) Hip Implants, and the medical and legal consequences of hip implant failure. Our primary objective is to keep MoM Hip Implant patients updated on the most recent research developments into the health risks which may affect patients with MoM Hip Implants.
The conference explored the long term health issues of cobalt and chromium metal poisoning and included a panel of medical experts from the UK.
