Managing Partner, Raymond Bradley talks to TG4's Máire Bhreathnach

Sláinte agus Easláinte produced by Below the Radar for TG4 highlights the Healthcare System in Ireland. Máire Bhreathnach explores solutions to the problems within the Healthcare System in Ireland. Máire interviews people that were neglected by the system and left without support on their death bed.

This episode begins by focusing on the introduction of the HSE in Ireland and its now realised optimistic vision of fair, efficient and high quality healthcare for all people in Ireland.

Raymond Bradley, Malcomson Law commenting upon the dearth of confidence by Irish people in the Healthcare System said "The biggest problem is that there was a culture of concealment. That particular culture of concealment continued over many years and therefore, it has resulted in a lack of confidence in the Healthcare Services.

Director Ruth O'Reilly said "The story of healthcare in Ireland and the collapse of public confidence in it over the past five years can be said to mirror what has happened with other Irish institutions in recent times. Many of the underlying issues are the same: interest groups with too much power, a lack of transparency and accountability within the system and a failure on the part of the state to manage and regulate money and standards."
