2 Days remain to apply to the Lourdes Hospital Redress Scheme

There are 2 days remaining for applications to be submitted to the Lourdes Hospital Redress Scheme.

The scheme was established to provide redress to victims of the wrongful practices of Dr Michael Neary.

Dr Neary carried out unnecessary hysterectomies and oopherectomies (the removal of ovaries) on women between 1974 and 1998 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Co Louth.

Victims of the wrongful practices of Dr Neary will receive payments ranging from €60,000 to €380,000.
