Corporate Social Responsibility is a core aspect in the daily operation of Malcomson Law, the specialist health law service. This practice of being a responsible corporate citizen is instilled in each employee and we believe it results in a cohesive workforce, with a common goal to invest in the community, within which we operate.
The meaning of CSR to Malcomson Law
For Malcomson Law, corporate social responsibility is the duty we possess to conduct our business dealings in a responsible manner. Ultimately our goal is to ensure the business activities we undertake enhance rather than impede our relationships with clients, suppliers, employees and the community. In addition it involves focusing on ways of minimising our carbon footprint on the environment.
Employees
Malcomson Law is driven by the belief that how we operate internally reflects how we operate externally; therefore we ensure that our employees are active participants in our CSR campaign. We find that integrating our staff in the CSR campaign, not only creates an effective initiative for the wider community, but also builds staff morale and cultivates a team spirit.
Community Investment
Our company recognises that we have a wider responsibility to the community and to the environment. In 2008 we have undertaken a sponsorship initiative with "The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland", a non-profit charitable organisation.

Pro Bono
In 2008 we aim to provide a pro bono service to ensure that people who cannot afford legal advice will have access to our service. In addition on a daily basis we provide free advice to potential new clients.
